Here are some of my favorite beauty tips I've used since I was a teen. These gems were gleaned from the painful YET highly rewarding process of trial and error. These are listed in order of importance, coming straight from experience that money can't buy, baby. Now let's get into it!

Energize your life by loving what will love you back, starting with God.
Energize your life by loving what will love you back, starting with God.

Tip #1 is the most crucial and honestly the most under rated. That my friend is water. I stumbled on this tip accidentally back in my junior high days. Although I didn't have skin concerns at the time, I was a chubby kid and I thought if loaded up on water it would cause weight loss. SILLY ME. The struggle was real, but little did I know this would form a habit that followed me into my adulthood. I have yet to experience a product that clears my skin without other side effects like drinking between 64 -100oz of water daily. Now run and tell that!

Tip #2 is for my gals who need to nurture their lashes while living in falsie town. Lightly applying an oil to your eyelashes is a plug for the most voluminous and natural-looking Rapunzel lashes. I didn't care about my lashes until I reached my early 20s, but once I became curious and saw the results of this hack, I was sold. Back in the day, I just used what I had, baby oil. A hidden and cost effective gem. Surprisingly, my lashes grew dramatically long and thick. As I ascended in the knowledge of herbs and oils, I started applying castor oil. Now, you don't want it to get into your eyes, so apply half of a dab to your lashes with your eyes shut. Even after removing the most stubborn falsies, which never fail to pull out a lash or two, you can still notice results in 1-2 weeks.

Now tip #3 is the only EX you'll ever need in your life, and that's an EXFOLIATOR. Invest in a quality exfoliator and watch your skin transform. I love to exfoliate right before I apply makeup for the best application, with a minimum of every 3 days. This makes my skin baby soft, and gives walking billboard makeup. So for those who haven't added this to your skincare routine, my advice is simply: elevate and exfoliate.

As much as I love to talk beauty and skin care, the undeniable truth is true beauty stems from the soul. The external only reflects whats on the inside whether good or bad. So, lets spend time caring for our inner selves today.

Peace
